Where Are They Now: Brian Brohm

Who is he? Brian Joseph Brohm, former standout quarterback for the University of Louisville & NFL player for the Packers and Bills.

See? Wouldn't you love to have this card?
What is he known for? Although he suffered multiple injuries during his collegiate career, Brohm was still one of the best quarterbacks in college football during that time. He was considered a candidate for the Heisman trophy in 2006 (it eventually went to Ohio State's Troy Smith, who was profiled as part of this series back in February.)

Does he have any football cards? According to checkoutmycards.com, Brohm has 417 trading cards to his name, including base cards; parallels; odd-sized cards; relics; and autographs. My personal favorite Brohm card happens to be the very first one listed when you use "oldest" to arrange his cards. It's a jersey-ball-jersey triple relic + autograph. Schweet!

What's he doing now? After his NFL prospects seemingly ended in 2011, Brohm signed with the Las Vegas Locomotives of the (struggling) United Football League (UFL). He is currently their starting quarterback for the team.

Contact information: If you'd like to contact Brohm for an autograph through the mail, you can address your letter like this: [The address comes from the Locomotives' website]

  1. Thanks Justin. Just and FYI the UFL has ceased all operations at present. They say they are going to finish this season some time early next year and do a 2013 schedule but it doesn't look promising.
