| That's Mientkiewicz, the 1st baseman in the background of this photo, celebrating the first World Series championship for Boston since 1918. |
Does he have any baseball cards? The newly-revamped COMC.com (formerly checkoutmycards.com) lists 190 baseball cards featuring Mientkiewicz. This number includes autographs, relic cards, serial #, base cards, and many different parallels of all kinds. The lowest-priced Mientkiewicz autograph on the site goes for $5.20, and can be found here if you are interested in purchasing it.
What's he doing now? Doug spent the 2012 season in the Dodgers organization as a coach, and earlier this off-season, he was named the manager of the Fort Myers Miracle, the Twins' A-Advanced affiliate & a team that Mientkiewicz played for as his career was beginning.
Contact information: Mientkiewicz played for quite a few teams during his career, so a lot of team collectors may need his signature for a project or a "team set". If you don't want to pay more than five dollars for his signature, you can write to him at the below address.

I remember him from his Minnesota days, but I watch a lot more AL Central games then anything else.
