Who is she? Tairia Flowers, a gold-medal-winning former Team USA Olympian in
the sport of softball.
What is she known for? Flowers was an integral part of two USA
medal-winning Olympic teams, including the 2004 team that sported an undefeated
perfect record en route to the gold in Athens.
What’s she doing now? Ms. Flowers currently serves as the head
softball coach at Cal State Northridge. 2013 will be here third season in the
position.
Fun fact: Ms. Flowers is married to Jason Flowers, who is currently the
ladies’ basketball coach of the CSN Matadors.
