Where Are They Now: Kendall Dawson

Who is she? Kendall Dawson, a former all-conference and National Championship-winning catcher at the University of Alabama.

What is she known for? Dawson exhibited a great defensive prowess through her career, and was a two-time member of the All-SEC Defensive team. She was a leader of the National-Championship-winning 2012 Crimson Tide squad, and came up in the clutch numerous times throughout the team's road to the title.

You might not know... that following her senior season in 2012, Dawson and two of her fellow Alabama softball stars joined the Wounded Warriors Amputee Softball Team (@WWAmpSoftball) for a game against a team from Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville. The WWAST won the game 16-1

What's she up to now? Dawson will soon enter her second season and first full year as an assistant coach at Division II St. Leo University in Saint Leo, Florida. Dawson serves as the team's bench coach; infield & catcher position coach; academic liaison; and recruiting and travel coordinator.
