Times & Tidbits
-  Andi Williamson seems to be doing better; as updated on the post from Friday, she was released from the hospital on Saturday and will follow up with her doctor next week.
-  Reigning Sun Belt Player of the Year Brittany Fowler just had surgery for a torn labrum, an injury suffered during her award-winning 2013 season.
-  Ace of the UCF pitching staff Mackenzie Audas got engaged to Tampa (Division 2) baseball pitcher Preston Packrall.
-  Current Fordham head softball coach Bridget Orchard was inducted into the Cabrini College Hall of Fame on Friday. Orchard was head coach of the Cavaliers for four seasons, posting a 129-42-2 record.
-  Olympic medal-winning bobsledder & former George Washington softball standout Elana Meyers will be inducted into the school’s hall of fame.
-  The Oregon Ducks softball team was honored on the field at Saturday’s game against Cal; sophomore pitcher Cheridan Hawkins posted this photo.
-  Former Arkansas softball player Amanda Summerford, who graduated earlier this year, was married over the weekend.
