The Top 10 softball finalists for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award have been announced, and fan voting is now open to select a winner. Fan votes count for 1/3 of the award, with balloting from D1 coaches and national media members making up the other portions.
At present time, Tennessee's Madison Shipman leads the voting with 27.3% of the fan vote, while Alabama infielder Kaila Hunt currently stands in second place, with 17.8%. Sara Nevins of South Florida and Hannah Rogers of the Florida Gators make up the rest of the clear leaderboard, while three other players are within 0.3% of each other behind them.
You can cast your vote by visiting the Senior CLASS Award website here and casting your vote. You can vote for up to three of the eligible players at a time, and you can vote once daily per voting device (computer, tablet, phone).
