Top 10 Finalists for National Player of the Year Announced

As postseason awards are being handed out and tournament play is set to begin around the country, USA Softball announced today the Top 10 finalists for the prestigious National Player of the Year award.

Narrowed down from a list of twenty-five players that was announced last month, the top ten includes representatives from seven different teams including three different regular-season conference champions (Florida State, Alabama, & Michigan). The top 3 teams in the PAC-12 standings are also represented.

Four seniors made the final list of ten; the list also includes three juniors and three sophomores.

The Top 10 will be narrowed down to just three on May 21, and the recipient of the award will be announced on May 27, just before the Women's College World Series begins.
