Florida Wins National Championship

The Crimson Tide can't pull a rally in the 7th and the Florida Gators are the 2014 Division I National Champions downing Alabama 6-3. This is the Florida's first national title in their third try and the second national championship for the SEC. The Gators finish with a 55-12 record. Alabama loses in the WCWS final in their second appearance after winning it in 2012 and finishes the season 53-13.

Alabama 7th:
Spencer grounded out to p (1-2 KBF).
Spencer to rf for Dare.
Hunt singled to right field, RBI (0-1 K); McCleney scored.
Case flied out to lf (0-1 K).
McCleney tripled to right center (2-2 KBFB).
Hawkins flied out to cf to left field (0-1 K).
Hawkins pinch hit for Grantham.
