Lee Dobbins Named Buffalo Assistant Coach

Frequent Justin's World contributor and former Southern University head coach Lee Dobbins has been named assistant coach at Buffalo, the school announced in a press release.

Dobbins will serve as an assistant coach & recruiting coordinator under second-year Bulls head coach Trena Peel.

In addition to holding numerous collegiate coaching jobs the last fifteen years, Dobbins is the owner and operator of Dobbins Softball Consulting and Development.

Prior to his stint as head coach at Southern University from 2013-2014, Dobbins served on the coaching staffs at Emory University; Tennessee-Chattanooga; and Austin Peay. He was head softball coach at Lander University during the 2005-2006 season, as well as at Texas A&M International in Laredo, Texas in 2007-2008.

During the 2014 Women's College World Series, Dobbins served as an on-site reporter for Justin's World, providing game recaps, press conference videos, and more from the biggest event in college softball.

He joins the staff of a Buffalo program that has already thrived under Peel's leadership. In her inaugural season at the helm of the program, the Bulls took home the MAC Eastern division championship and barely missed the NCAA postseason.
