Where Are They Now: Michelle Zoeller

Who is she? Michelle Zoeller, a former star infielder for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

What is she known for? Zoeller made 141 starts at third base over her four years, with a  .266/.352/328 slash line. A three time Academic all-Big 10 selection, Michelle earned all-conference honors on the field in 2012, her sophomore campaign.

Here’s something interesting… Michelle’s grandfather was Nick Etten, a former Major League baseball player who suited up from 1938-1947, including for the Yankees in 1944 when he led the American League in home runs.

What’s she up to now? Michelle works for a company called VIP Sports Marketing. She is an account executive and serves corporate America by offering package deals to major sporting events (ie. the Super Bowl, the Masters golf tournament, World Series, Kentucky Derby). The company also hosts tickets to other “regular” sporting events (and you can get tickets through Michelle, if you’re after them). She also co-head coaches an 18u travel team that travels all around the Midwest.
