PAC-12 Postseason Award Winners Announced

The PAC-12 postseason awards & all-conference teams were announced yesterday. The announcement came later than those of other major conferences due to the extra weekend of games given to PAC teams in lieu of a conference tournament.

As expected, UCLA star Ally Carda took home Player of the Year honors for the second year in a row, while Oregon's Cheridan Hawkins also repeated as Pitcher of the Year. Hawkins' Duck teammate Jenna Lilley earned Freshman of the Year honors and Utah head coach Amy Hogue was named Coach of the Year.

The all-conference teams are made up a bit differently in the PAC; twenty players make up the first team, while just ten received second-team honors. The two lists are also not broken down by position.

Conference champion Oregon led the way with six players earning all-conference honors; UCLA placed five players between the two lists, while Arizona and Arizona State were each represented by a quartet of players. Washington, Utah, and California placed a trio apiece on the all-conference list, while Kayla Bonstrom of Stanford and Dani Gilmore of Oregon State were their school's sole representative.

You'll find the full list of all-conference honorees below. Agree or disagree with one of the individual winners or with someone's placement or snub from the all-conference team? Hit the comments and let us know who and why!
