Where Are They Now: Michelle Moses

Who is she? Michelle Moses, a former pitcher and hitter for the Fresno State Bulldogs and Chicago Bandits.

What is she known for? It would not be inaccurate to describe Moses as a WAC softball legend; three times an all-region selection; twice a member of the all-WAC first team; and an Easton all-American in her junior season, she led the conference in five pitching categories her senior year while coming in in the top five in five others. At the same time, she tied for the conference lead in offensive home runs with eighteen. Moses spent the 2012 summer season with the Chicago Bandits, playing sparingly.

Here's something interesting... When I asked Michelle for an interesting fact about herself, she sure gave me one! Here's what she said, verbatim: "I love the smell of the original Pine-Sol."

Quotable quote (on a skill that softball taught her that has helped her everyday life): "Teamwork. You may not agree with everyone on your team or at your work, but you have to find a way to work together to reach a common goal in order to be successful."

What's she up to now? After her playing career ended, Michelle got married to become Mrs. Michelle Owen. She and her husband now live in Kentucky, where she in an accelerated 2nd degree nursing program at the University of Bellarmine in Louisville.
