Where Are They Now: Stacie Chambers

Who is she? Stacie Chambers, a former catcher and home run hitter for the Arizona Wildcats.
What is she known for? Chambers is the Wildcats' all-time home run leader, coming within three of then-record holder Stacey Nuveman's ninety. She currently stands in third place all-time, eight behind record holder Lauren Chamberlain's ninety-five. I named Chambers as one of the five most indispensable players in UA softball history. She may be best remembered by the casual fan as an all-time great whose career was never allowed to fully blossom thanks to a devastating injury.

Here's something interesting... Stacie is the second member of her family to play Division 1 softball. Her cousin Tiffani Chambers suited up for New Mexico from 1997-2001.

Quotable quote: "Always give 110% in everything that you do because in the long run, it will all pay off."

What's she up to now? After stepping away from a high school coaching position, Stacie accepted a position as an academic advisor at San Juan College, a school in the town she was already living in. In addition, she is simultaneously working towards her Master's degree at yet another school.
