Meyers-Taylor, married to fellow bobsled athlete Nic Taylor, had a bye through trials after a third-place finish at the World Championships last season. Still, the longtime pro took home victories in two of her four races at Trials.

Meyers-Taylor is joined on the squad by a number of other athletes, including her bronze-medal-winning teammate from last season, Lauren Gibbs, as well as two-sport-star Lolo Jones, among others. Meyers-Taylor's 2014 Winter Olympic teammate Lauryn Williams is not on the squad.

During her softball career at George Washington University, Meyers-Taylor set her firm place as one of the program's greatest-ever players. She twice earned Atlantic Ten all-conference honors and graduated with her name atop the program record books in nearly every offensive category.

In 2014, Meyers-Taylor was the first Colonials softball player to join the athletic program's Hall of Fame, and upon having her jersey retired that same year, became the first athlete in any sport in GW history to receive that honor.
