Ohio State sophomore Emily Clark has been named the JWOS Player of the Week.
Clark hit .875 in her team's four games last week, including a three-game conference series against Rutgers. She ended the week with a 1.750 slugging percentage, in addition to a .917 on-base percentage.
Spending time at multiple positions around the infield for the Buckeyes, Clark reached base safely in ten straight at-bats to close the weekend. She knocked a grand-slam home run over the outfield fence in game two of the Rutgers series.
The Player of the Week award is Clark's first of the season and the Big Ten Conference's second of the year.
