Announcing the Winner of the 2017 JWOS Bracket Challenge

With the conclusion of the 2017 Women's College World Series, so too comes to an end the 2017 JWOS Bracket Challenge.

Our most popular contest to date, it was a tight race going into the World Series. As a refresher, ten points were awarded for a correctly-selected WCWS runner-up, while fifteen points were awarded for a correctly-selected WCWS champion.

Three people correctly picked the two teams who would play for the championship, but just two predicted the two teams in their eventual positions as champion and runners-up.

With 72 points in the Bracket Challenge, the winner of the 2017 JWOS Bracket Challenge is...

NATE MCKEAN

Franklin Harrell (@frankdharrell) was the other individual who correctly picked the tournament's outcome and finished with 67 points, while Daryn Bainter correctly picked the two teams in the championship series, but in incorrect final positions.

Thanks to all who participated in this year's Bracket Challenge. We are already looking forward to the 2018 contest!
