Palm Beach Atlantic, of the Division II-level Sunshine State Conference, is in the market for a new coach following the resignation of Kimmy Bloemers.
Bloemers, who had led the Sailfish softball program for eleven years, resigned last week to move with her family following her husband’s job promotion.
The Sailfish assembled a 337-225 record under Bloemers’ leadership, including a 32-17 record during the 2017 season.
After taking over an eight-win program, Bloemers built the Sailfish into an eight-time 30-win team, including two South Region Tournament appearances, in 2010 and 2014.
Bloemers is a former Florida State Seminole, as well as the daughter of Major League Baseball Hall of Fame catcher Gary Carter.
