Courtnay Foster has resigned as head coach at Bucknell.
Foster, who had spent two seasons at the helm of the Bison, will pursue other opportunities and follow her husband who has accepted a coaching job of his own in the south.
Foster put together a 50-43 win-loss record during her time at Bucknell and finished a game below .500 in conference play, where she led the Bison to a 17-18 mark. Her squad finished 23-20 in 2017.
Prior to Bucknell, Foster spent five years as an assistant at Northwestern, her alma mater, where she helped mentor the Wildcats pitchers.
As a player, Foster ended her collegiate career with eighty career wins, a 1.49 career ERA, and 1,014 strikeouts, as well as an all-American nod in 2005. She went on to play for the Philadelphia Force in the National Pro Fastpitch league, as well as internationally in Italy.
