Florida State have added former Florida Atlantic ace Kylee Hanson to their pitching staff for the 2018 season.

Hanson, who graduated from FAU in the spring and will be immediately eligible to suit up for the Seminoles, suffered a season-ending foot injury in the first few weeks of her senior season and redshirted for the remainder of the campaign.
In 2016, Hanson earned all-American honors and led the country with a 0.76 ERA. During her career as an Owl, Hanson collected a career ERA of 1.21 in nearly 550 innings of work. Opponents hit just .177 against her and she amassed 667 strikeouts.
At Florida State, Hanson provides a veteran presence to immediately replace the graduated Jessica Burroughs on the Seminoles pitching staff. She joins Meghan King as top-of-the-line hurlers for Lonni Alameda’s club that earned the #4 overall seed in the 2017 NCAA tournament and reached the Super Regional round.
